Tropical fruit and citrus special is a special fertilizer blend crafted for catering the needs of Fruiting plants and Citrus plants. This blend has all the components that make a blend worth its name and use. Suitable for organic gardening.

Rich in Primary nutrients Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium but also provides Calcium, Magnesium and Sulphur, trace minerals like Manganesse, Iron, Chlorine etc are also provided in adequate quantities.

When a single fertilizer can provide all that is needed to plant, takes good care of soil, feed the soil microbiology and that too by using plant based components and natural minerals, then it is not manufactured, but it is crafted. To read more continue to description below.

Detailed Description of the product

Tropical Fruit and Citrus Special

A Blend and a Fertilizer for fruiting plants and Citrus with all the components for being called a complete plant nutrition management. It has following components.

  1. Fast-Moderate Nitrogen Source,
  2. Moderate to Slow Phosphorus Source,
  3. Fast to Moderate Potassium release mehanism,
  4. Slow release Nitrogen,
  5. Source of Minerals,
  6. Sulphur in modration,
  7. Components for increasing CEC

are just to name a few. Hence we do not call that we have manufactured this product, but we say we have crafted it.

Recommended dosage of fertilizer for fruiting plants

Following is the Suggested Dosage

Containers:

For new plantings, add 1/4 to 1/2  cup per gallon (5 kg) of soil and mix thoroughly OR add 5-10 lbs per cubic yard. For established plants, lightly mix 2-4 tbsp per gallon (per 5 kg) into the soil surface every month during the growing season. Please increase the quantity @ 1 Tablespoon per foot of plant height or pot diameter whichever is larger.

Beds:

To prepare new gardens, apply 2.5-5 lbs per 100 square feet and thoroughly mix into the top 3” of soil. For new transplants, add ¼ cup per hole, mix into soil and water in well. To feed established plants, side dress ¼-½ cup every month during the growing season to promote fruiting and flowering during the growing season. Please increase the quantity @ 1 Tablespoon per foot of plant height.

Application method:

Dig a trench around 2-3 inches deep all around the plant leaving 3 inches from the plant trunk. Uniformly spread the fertilizer ( it is recommended to start with 30 grams of the fertilizer) in the trench and then cover the trench with soil. Water the plant till some water comes out from the bottom of pot. refer following pictures for clarity.

Is it safe

Ecotika’s Organic Fertilizer blends have vegan ingredients and are safe to use around children. However for peace of mind please do not allow children to put the product in mouth. Left over product must be properly packed to avoid ingression of moisture or water. occasional overdose by up to 50% of recommended dose will not harm your plant as this is a slow release type, just ensure to maintain the average application rate.
