Desert Pride, Fertilizer for cactus and succulent

This is a Low Nitrogen blend (containing Alfalfa) specially crafted as a fertilizer for Cactus and Succulent, provides necessary primary, secondary and micro nutrients, promotes earthworm population thereby enriching soil micro environment. Since this is a Slow to moderate release fertilizer the nutrients are released after some time approx 10-15 days but at an uniform rate and over longer duration. Good to use when you wish to get value of money as plant and soil gets ample time to absorb nutrients. Tends to improve the soil structure allowing it to absorb more water. Recommended Dosage of desert pride

 

Dosage: One cup (approx. 20-30 gms) goes on to feed an average plant potted in an 12″ dia pot for  3 months. Pack of 1/2 pounds can feed 1 plant for an entire year or can be a feed for 5 plants for 3 months. If the plant is larger, quantity can be increased (suggested increment in quantity is 1/2 cup for every 1 foot increase in diameter of pot or height of the plant). Dosage of the fertilizer can be increased depending upon the plants requirement and climate.

 

Application method of Desert pride

Dig a trench around 2-3 inches deep all around the plant leaving 3 inches from the plant trunk. Uniformly spread the fertilizer ( it is recommended to start with 30 grams of the fertilizer) in the trench and then cover the trench with soil. Water the plant till some water comes out from the bottom of pot. refer following pictures for clarity.

Safety: 

The product has vegan ingredients and are safe to use around children. However for peace of mind please do not allow children to put the product in mouth. Left over product must be properly packed to avoid ingression of moisture or water.
